Fishing Rules
You are required to adhere to the following rules for the sake of the fish, wildlife and other pool users. Rules are posted on notice boards around the pool and listed below:
- Adult day permit £7, child (under 16) £5 to be paid to the bailiffs at the pool upon arrival.
- Children under 13 must have adult supervision.
- Environmental Agency Fishing License MUST be available for inspection at the time of fishing and is required for anyone aged 13 and older. Failure to produce the license will result in you being asked to cease fishing.
- Fishing is only permitted from designated pegs (other locations to be identified).
- One rod per person.
- Barbless hooks only.
- Maximum hook size 12.
- No elasticated method feeders.
- No keepnets.
- Landing nets must be 18 inches or bigger.
- No ground bait, bloodworm, floating baits, joker or boilies.
- Bait that is not permitted must not be taken to the pool side.
- Do not throw unused bait into any of the pools.
- No fish to be handled in rags or placed on hard surface. Unhooking mat to be used.
- Never stand or walk about holding a fish.
- No fish to be moved into the wildlife pool.
- Fish must be returned alive to the water immediately after unhooking.
- Litter and other debris must not be left around the pool side or park. Please use the bins provided around the pool.
- No tins on the bank side.
- Do not interfere with vegetation or wildlife.
- No fires.
- No radios, televisions or audio visual equipment.
- Tickets are non transferable.
- Fishing permitted only from 7am to dusk.
- No unauthorised vehicles to be brought up to the pool side or onto the grass.
- No fish to be introduced illegally to the pools.
- Night fishing is banned, this will be policed.
- Strictly no alcohol on site.
